So I bet you read the title and rolled your eyes and asked yourself, "I thought she was going to grow her hair out?" Mmm, welp, I changed my mind. Haha. I have been wanting a pixie cut for over a year now but I've just been too scared of it not looking right on me. I have always thought it was cute and very feminine and edgy. Not only that, but it can be extremely vintage, edgy vintage, but most definitely vintage. To me it shows a woman's confidence in herself and showing the world that they don't need long beautiful locks to feel beautiful. Kind of like Rapunzel in "Tangled". Hehe(; Don't get me wrong, I obviously LOVE long hair, I just don't have the patience for it and in a way I don't think it's who I am. I also am excited about having short, easy hair for my dance classes because I can't stand when hair dominates any dance piece because it's down and all over the place and that's all you see.
Here are some of the women who have inspired me to get short hair.

Now here's me!
I do realize that in the last 2 photos you can't really tell but you can see in the first one it's length. I am very pleased with it but am still trying to get used to it. I hope everyone likes it, if not, well, good thing it's not your hair right? haha.(Not to be rude) I love the way it looks with my vintage outfits and more modern outfits. This haircut fits all of my styles I feel and it's super easy to manage! I think I'll keep it for a while but I don't know for how long because I like to switch things up, as you know.(; So if anyone is debating on whether or not to get this cut I vote yes ONLY if you are dying to get it cut but are too scared you wont look like one of the beautiful women up top. Take a chance! Do what I did, pin your hair back to look like a pixie cut to see if it'll look good that short and if it does, take the plunge!
And if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all, like we learned in kindergarden. But I think all of my lovely followers come off very sweet, so I really don't have much to worry about.
Don't worry, there will be more pictures to come! I'm actually supposed to have a photoshoot soon so then you'll get to see it with my outfits! Wee!
Till next time my dearies,
Paigey The Vintage Dame
